GO therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

— Matthew 28:19

OUR MISSION

For Go Let’s Mission, our mission is to provide management and funding of Evangelical Christian sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Bato, Leyte, Philippines.

There are three focus points set as priorities of this work:

  1. Support the Living Word Church Christian Fellowship congregation with programming and funds. The pastor, German Bolo has established that the primary focus is for GLM is the start and support of an organized children’s ministry to include the establishment of a children’s library at the church.

  2. Support the planting of Young Life of Philippines in the local two high schools of Bato and the immediate area universities in neighboring communities. Go Let’s Mission will establish a relationship with the national staff located in Cebu and that national entity will provide the day to day management of the local Bato staff and programming through their existing and well-established presence in Leyte.

  3. Provide hands on logistics for bringing short term medical teams to the immediate area from established US medical teams. This will include but not be limited to obtaining required governmental approvals and permits for the teams. Locating housing for the traveling teams. Assisting in the advertising of these events in the local community. Arranging for volunteers to assist in the events. These volunteers may come from various churches in the area and the events will include presenting the gospel to the “customers” of the medical event.

Go is an action command.

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
